In the past, lead-based anodes were applied for the production of copper foil. The main disadvantages are their high energy consumption and low corrosion resistance. Corrosion results in shorter anode life and poor product quality due to the change of distance between anode and cathode.
Considering this, we especially developed this titanium anode for electrolytic copper foil production. The IrO2 coating on titanium substrate improves the product quality, and the operating current density could reach up to 50A/dm2, greatly enhancing the production efficiency.
