The marine diesel generator set is a product we provide for electric power supply in various ships. It can be used as the main power source or emergency power supply, and it can also serve as the power supply for electric propulsion system.

Our marine diesel generator set is equipped with the diesel engine of well-known brands at home and abroad, such as Weichai, Steyr, Volvo, Cummins, etc. Siemens, Marathon, and Stamford generators are also adopted.

1. Working Principle
A breath of fresh air is drawn or pumped into the engine cylinder and is compressed to be of high pressure by the moving piston. When the air is compressed, its temperature rises so that it can ignite the fine mist fuel injected into the cylinder. Combustion of fuel brings about more heat, which causes expansion and forces engine piston to act on the crankshaft.

The rotating crankshaft drives the rotor of the generator. According to the electromagnetic induction principle, the generator will output an induced electromotive force. When this induced electromotive force is applied to a closed load circuit, a current is generated.

2. Features
a. The design, manufacture, and testing of our marine diesel generator set is in full compliance with the national standard of GB/T2820-97.

b. The built-in multi-stage vibration suppression system originally designed by our company can effectively eliminate the vibration of the running diesel genset and thus better protect the control system and electrical components.

c. The Dongfeng Cummins engine adopted is characterized by reliable performance, high combustion efficiency, continuous operation for a long time, stable operation in various environments, and convenient maintenance.

d. Voltage and current of the adopted Stamford generator is able to recover quickly under transient load. Waveform distortion is extremely small under non-linear load.

e. The automatic control system adopted by our marine generating set has extremely high reliability and it can adapt to various climatic conditions (a heating system is required when the ambient temperature is very low). Display and alarm parameters can be set according to the characteristics of different generators.

3. Packaging and Transportation
Our product is packaged according to the international transportation standards. It is exported from the port in mainland China as per customer requirements.
