The MD-109G wireless GPRS device is our latest embedded GPRS DTU (data transfer unit) product launched in 2011. It can be embedded into the interior of various kinds of users' devices needing to realize GPRS wireless communication such as the instrument, meter, data terminal, RTU, industrial personal computer, etc. Through the GPRS wireless network, the product transmits the data of the user's device connecting to the product to one host on the Internet to carry out the data remote transparent transmission.
Application Range
The wireless GPRS device can be largely used into various areas that the Internet of things is involved in.
1. In electric power industry, it can be quickly embedded into the equipment such as electricity meter and electric power application terminal to carry out reactive power compensation monitoring, power distribution monitoring, electric meter centralized reading system, streetlight monitoring, etc.
2. In heat supply field, the product can be rapidly embedded into the m-BUS concentrator to realize the integration of the concentrator and the wireless communication.
3. In water involved industry, the wireless GPRS device plays an important role in wireless communication of water meter centralized reading system, water resource management remote monitoring, water pipe network monitoring, and more.
4. In environmental protection area, it also serves greatly in the pollution source online monitoring system involving continuous emission monitoring system (CEMS), water quality online monitoring, etc.
5. In the field of equipment maintenance, such as the elevator monitoring and air conditioner monitoring, the product can be quickly mounted into the monitoring instrument of the user to fulfill equipment monitoring GPRS remote transmission.
The original embedded design allows the wireless GPRS device to have smaller size and more flexible interface. The product enables much easier embedded wireless application for the industry users. The split-type GPRS wireless application needs to separately install the GPRS communication equipment and the user's device. It occupies large volume, and the overall appearance has no integrity. The installation, training and commissioning are comparatively complicated. Due to the small size and flexible interface, our product can be quickly embedded into the device of the user to integrate the user's device and the GPRS wireless communication into a whole.
Features
The wireless GPRS device leads the trend of the GPRS wireless communication application integration. It is highlighted by the following characteristics.
1. As same as our other DTU products, the product is compatible with the connection to the mServer.
2. It is easy to use with plug and play. The product is compatible with a variety of data center software, allowing the existing DTU application doesn't have to change the existing data center software.
3. It supports the application of the point-to-point mode, point-to-multipoint mode, and the serial port to a serial port mode.
4. By exploiting the industrial component, the product can serve in the arduous environment with the temperature range of -35℃ to 85℃.
