The oil pipe, also known as production tubing, is a seamless pipe used in the oil well. It provides the passage through which the oil flows out of the underground formations and up to the well surface. Threads are cut onto both ends of the pipe, allowing for easier connection to the pipe joint. Thread precision has strict standards to meet so as to ensure a tight seal at the joint.
