The ZJ series horizontal centrifugal slurry pump is a single-stage, single-suction cantilever pump. In other words, the pump has only one axial-flow impeller and allows liquid to enter the casing from only one side. Utilizing the concept of solid-liquid two-phase flow, this pump enables minimized head loss. Its pumping components are designed with optimized geometric shapes to accommodate various flow stream properties.
Thanks again to the specially crafted pumping parts, head loss and the occurrence of eddy caused by the meeting of two opposing current are reduced within the parts as well as along the flow path. This in turn improves slurry transportation efficiency while resolving customer concerns about wear, operating noise, and vibration. Hardened alloy cast iron is selected to make the pump for improved resistance to wear, corrosion, and impact. By using this material, the life of the pump is thus significantly prolonged. In addition, the series of pump adopts the expeller system to decrease flow pressure, thus ensuring slurry will not leak as easily.
ZJ series slurry pump can be extensively used in mining, metallurgy, electricity, coal, chemical, and building material industries, where it is employed to transport erosive slurry that contains solid particles. The maximum mass concentration of the solid and liquid particle mixture that our pump can handle is 45% in the case of mortar, and 60% when the mixture is pulp. Different models of pumps offer a full range of specifications. Drive types for the pump can be direct-acting drive, belt drive, liquid coupling drive, and frequency conversion drive. Depending on customer needs, the pump can be installed in series or parallel.
