All the solenoid valves of our top drive drillingsystem specialized for offshore drilling use is made from high speed steelwhich possesses great corrosion-proof property, and the valves are capable ofoffshore use. The hydraulic source is consisted of Siemens explosion-proof motorand Rexroth variable displacement pump, and we need to turn it on during roundtrip, make up, break out and directional drilling. The pump can be shut downwhen drilling, and the hydraulic system generates little heat. Furthermore, the hydraulicsystem takes advantage of components supplied by Rexroth,SUN, and ATOS. In addition, the integrated hydraulic system is set on the topside which allows easy maintenance and debug test. 

The gear drive part of the top drive retarder box uses splash and forced lubrication together tocomplete the dependable performance and the gear box has obtained the relevantcertificates in China. Meanwhile, two load channels are adopted by the hoistingsystem, and inclining and swinging clamping back-up tong is designed forthe pipe handler which makes it convenient to replace the tong teeth and shortcircuit protection. With the pin structure, the guide beam is firm and facileto install.

Siemens PLC is employed to control the assistant system of our top drivedrilling machine aimed at offshore use. With interlocking, monitoring andalarming and many other functions, the PLC can keep the system in a stablecondition. We apply China-made cable which is specially designed for offshoredrilling, and the explosion proof connection mode is also used. The insulatingsheath of the cable is made of crack free rubber supplied by America, whichgives great protection to the cable inside. The high-pressure protecting jacketis also employed. Based on these, the cable shows good resistance to high/low temperature, oil, mud, and corrosion, and the IPrating is IP67. The modular design of our machine makes it easy to transportand install.
