Our DWDM long haul transmission solution adopts the DWDM systems to establish a chain optical transmission network. The node A and D therein are transmission nodes, and the node B and C therein are repeating relaying nodes. We set ten DWDM channels between the node A and D, and only three of the ten channels are enough for current transmission capacity. The rest channels are standby for the capacity extension in the future. In this solution, the optical transmission power of each node is marked, and we deliberately make the marked power more than actual need so as to ensure the undistorted transmission.
