Spiral Prestressed Concrete Wire
The spiral prestressed concrete wire wasproduced in 1991. It was developed with a research program that involves spiraldrawing die, spiral deforming techniques. The program owns 12 proprietarytechnologies. There are 3 to 6 raised spiral ribs on the cable’ssurface. The ribs can increase the bond strength with the concrete and improvethe product’s properties. Since 1997, the spiral rib PC wire has already fullyreplaced indented PC wire. It has been widely used in PC telegraph poles, PChollow slabs, and PC water pipes. In 1996, it was exported to overseas marketfor the first time. In 2006, the product passed the examination and certification byGerman TU Munich.Now the product is used in Great Britain, Ireland,Bangladesh, German, Poland, etc, totaling morethan 30 countries. The manufacturing process complies strictly withGB/T5223-2002. It also meets other popular standards of the world in terms ofmechanical properties. Non-standard products are available as well uponrequest.

The spiral pre-stressed concrete wire comes in many specifications. Products indiameters of 3.8mm, 4.0mm, 5.0mm, 6.0mm,7.0mm, 7.5mm, 8.0mm, 9.0mm,9.4mm, 9.5mm, and 10.0mm can be supplied with tensile strength of1470MPa, 1570MPa, 1670MPa, 1770MPa, and 1860MPa. The 5.03mm diameter steel wires are offered with threelevels of tensile strength: 1550MPa, 1620MPa, and 1730MPa. Products withdiameters of 4.88mm, 4.98mm, 6.35mm, and 7.01mm are provided with threetensile strength options: 1620MPa, 1655MPa, and 1725MPa.
