Galvalume Steel Coil
There is oxidative corrosionafter steel plate is exposed to moisture so corrosion protection layer should be added onthe surface. The commonly used layers are galvanizedlayer and Al-Zn alloy which is composed of 53% aluminum, 43.5%zinc and 1.5% silicon. Forcomparison of these two layers, Al-Zn alloy has strongeranti-corrosion ability. The reason for that is aluminum canbecome a dense layer of alumina when zinc are subject to wear in quaternary alloy crystal layer,thus preventing corrosive substances furthercorroding the internal. As indicated in data, theanti-corrosion ability for this product is 4 times of galvanizedlayer with the same thickness.
There are many features of galvalume steel coil. Inthe first place, this product has good heat resistance so it can withstand hightemperature over 300℃. Similar with aluminized steel, it can be used inchimney pipe, oven, fluorescent lamp cover and illuminator, etc. In the secondplace, this product has high heat reflectivity which is 2 times of galvanized product so it is also used as insulation material. Inaddition to that, this product has 3% larger surface area than galvanizedproduct under same weight and same thickness layer for the reason that thedensity of AL-Zn alloy is smaller than Zn. Last but not least, galvalume steel coil has excellent adhesion for paint sopretreatment and weathering process are not necessaryfor painting.
In summary, galvalume steel coilcan be used for general, mechanical occlusion and deep drawing. To bemore specific, this product can be used in roof, wall, garage, soundproof wall, pipe, modular housing, muffler,exhaust pipe, wiper accessories, fuel tank, truck box refrigeratorbackplane, gas stove, air conditioner, microwave oven, LCD border, CRT explosion-proof belt, LED backlight, electrical cabinet, pig coop,chicken coop, granary, pipe of greenhouse in construction, automobile, domesticappliance and agriculture.
