Check Valve
The check valve has two-port valvesor two openings in its body, one for flowing in and the other for flowing out. There are various types of check valves used in a wide variety of applications.Although they are available in a wide range of sizes and costs, check valvesgenerally are small, simple and inexpensive. Check valves work automaticallyand most are not hand controlled. The externalshell of a check valve is made of plastic or metal and is especially designedfor a specific cracking pressure.
The check valve is often used with some types ofpumps. Piston-driven and diaphragm pumps, metering pumps and pumps forchromatography commonly use inlet and outlet ball check valves and they are inchemical and power plants and many other industrial processes.
