Unicare implements its own technology for the fetal monitor board, .  It requires a 5V power supply and utilizes the UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver-Transmitter) interface.  The board adopts advanced DSP technology and has high sensitivity, 12 crystals, 1MHz pulsed wave, and a wide beam form with low ultrasound power that is safer for the fetus.  Exceptional processing with zero noise provides excellent sound quality.  Fetal movement may be detected manually or automatically, and top lights are synchronized to flash with heart beats.   The fetal monitoring board is capable of twin monitoring.
