ICOM IC-V8000 Mobile Radio Station

ICOM IC-V8000 mobile radio station is a combination of Icom’s one piece, die-cast aluminum chassis and 75W of transmit power. It gives you the most powerful 2m mobile transceiver and an experience of clear communication. The backlit HM-133V* offers you an easy control of your IC-V8000 mobile radio station, while those exclusive “Hot keys” (F1/F2) memorize the entire configuration of transceiver, thus all operating parameters, tone settings as well as the display color, fan speed, and mode settings are memorized.

With 200 memory channels in alphabet order, Icom’s exclusive DMS system gives you complete flexibility to scan a channel, and it can be fully customized into 10 banks. Meanwhile, 50 CTCSS and 104×2 DTCS encoder and decoder are used in our product together with tone scan functions. The “pocket beep” feature clearly indicates an incoming call as well.

In the US version, our product features a weather alert function to remind you about any weather emergencies. With a weather radio mode or weather alert, you could get ready for any incoming bad weather.

As a perfect solution for mobile operation, the IC-V8000 mobile radio station has a front firing speaker providing crisp and clear audio output. Along with a 6 character display, it offers quick reference of user-defined memory channels. Meanwhile, 10 DTMF memory channels with up to 24- digit DTMF codes can be used to control other equipment remotely. The optional UT-108DTMF decoder provides code squelch and pager functions.

Other features includes: • FM narrow mode switch able (U.S.A. version only)• Selectable squelch delay • 10dB squelch attenuator • Cloning capability from PC or between radios.
