The copper rod horizontal continuous casting machine is designed with double pairs of conjoined high and low furnaces. It adopts alloy copper as the raw material and can produce 3t copper rods per day. These copper rods are cast in a single strand. Meanwhile the transmission direction is set according to customers’ specific requirements.

Copper Rod Horizontal Production Processes
1. The electrolytic copper or alloy copper is firstly loaded into the smelting furnace to smelt.
2. After being melted, the liquid metal flows into the holding furnace via the launder specially designed by our company. The stopper can be permanently reused, and features satisfactory stoppage, making compensation for the disadvantages of traditional techniques by plugging graphite stopper into the furnace hearth.
3. Then the liquid metal will sequentially go through the crystallizer, the cooling system and ultimately the dummy machine.
