Medium density fiberboard, or called MDF board, is an artificial board madefrom residues produced in logging, bucking, and processing, secondaryprocessing material, small diameter material, or firewood. The major componentsof MDF board are wood fiber, resin adhesives, etc. The materials are made intoMDF products by a series of processes including thermomechanical treatment, drying, sizing, mat formation, hot-pressing,post-processing, and sanding.

MDF board is an ideal home furnishing material to replace log because MDF hasthe advantages of low price, ease in processing, and material uniformity.  Due to its material uniformity and tightlamellar structure, MDF board is excellent in physical property. It does not sufferfrom dehydration, or deformation in moisture.Its surface and edges are fine and smooth. The surface does not bulge and theedges do not delaminate or collapse.  Italso has high performance in heat insulation, cohesiveness, and breathability. It can be used in laminate wood floor, door plank, partition, etc.

MDF board can be produced into a waterproof and moisture-resistant product byadding paraffin wax or other compositions. The surface of MDF is often coveredwith melamine papers or veneers. The surface melamine paper has the features ofmoisture-resistance, antisepsis, wear-resistance, thermostability, low content of formaldehyde, etc.The surface melamine paper does not need post processing.

Our MDF board is manufactured by imported continuous pressuremachinery. It is non-toxic, radiationless,and smell-free. Indexes of our MDF board such as static bending intensity,tensile strength, moisture content, nail-holding ability, thickness swelling,and formaldehyde emission outperform the GB/T117181-999 and GBl8580-2001national standards, which regulates that the internal bond strength shall beabove 0.74Mpa, thickness swelling shall be below 3%, moisture content shall bearound 5%).
