Oriented Strand Board

Oriented strand board, orcalled OSB, has a high density of 600kg/m3,contrary to the density of normal plywood 500kg/m3. Strands are pressed together under a highpressure to form the OSB. The pressure in OSB production is 50% higher than innormal plywood, so that the glue OSB needs is only 65% of the normal plywooddoes, so OSB is more environmentally friendly. OSB has high internal bondstrength, distortion resistance, and bearing strength, because the woodenstrips are bonded in a geometrically disorder way and have no internal gaps orvoid. OSB has a good nail-holding capability because of the uniform arrangementof OSB. It is widely used in wooden construction, floor, package, vehicle,display panel, lining, cabinet, decoration, furniture, concrete pouring mold,etc.

The core equipments of our OSB manufacturing lines are all imported from Germany, suchas Maier flaker. We are thefirst company in China whoseOSB meets the mechanical and physical standards for wooden house, boat, sofa,and wall lining, and the only one in China who is able to independentlycomplete all processes of OSB including flaking, glue production, sizing, andfinishing. Therefore the quality of raw material is stable and the operatingcost is low. Our OSB board has the national quality inspection report and meetsthe E1 level environment standard. It has no smell so that it is well receivedin house decoration.
