Starting Modes
In addition to variable frequency starter, Success Engine VSD screwair compressor series are all equipped with standby industrialfrequency starting function. Thus, the air compressor can be shifted tostandard industrial frequency operation in case of the malfunction of frequencyinverter, ensuring the continuous operation.

Control Modes in the VSD Screw AirCompressor Control System
There are four control modes in the VSD screw air compressor control system:automatic control, manual control, linkage control, and remote control.

Linkage control function is the standard configuration for our VSD screw aircompressor control system. With a built-in 485 port, the control systemrequires no additional linkage-controller. Through simple wire connection, itis able to achieve linkage control of two or more screw air compressors.The VSD screw air compressor control system can automatically start orstop the standby air compressors according to the pipeline pressure.Periodically, it switches the operation between the main compressor and standbycompressors, so as to allow them work alternatively. Meanwhile, when there is afailure in the main compressor, the VSD screw air compressor control systemwill stop it and allows the standby compressor to work. The control systemallows for linkage control of 16 air compressors at a time.

Remote control function is the selective configuration for the VSD screw air compressor controlsystem. With the function, the control system can monitorthe power consumption and the load/unload situation. It can pre-set and displayall the parameters according to the actual air demand. In addition, the VSDscrew air compressor control system offers history record checking and displaysmaintenance alarm.

The operation menu makes the compressor control direct and easy. Our VSD screwair compressor control system offers operation status display function. It canoffer real time display of the power supply status, exhaust pressure, exhaust temperature, and standard time. An automaticmalfunction alarm will sound in case of overheating, lack of oil, overpressure, separator block, oil filter block, air filter element block, lack ofphase and phase reverse, motor overload, sensor failure, etc. Also, the VSDscrew air compressor control system can be used for parameter presetting andadjustment. To illustrate, it can be used for preset or adjust the control modes,automatic start/stop control, pressure increase or decrease, temperature limits,working sequence of multiple compressors, maintenance time and calendar time,etc. the VSD screw air compressor control system also has history recordfunction, so users can find the history of load/unload running time, oil filterleft time, separator left time, air filter left time, total running time, andfailure records.
