The soldering station is an electronic temperature controlled stationdeveloped to meet the present and future needs of the electronicsindustry. The soldering station incorporates a sophisticated electronic circuit, so the user is able to change the tiptemperature from 3200F (1600C)to 9000F(4800C) without theneed to change the tip or heating element. The temperature is maintained within±100F of its presettemperature. A unique temperature sensor located near the tip makes thisprocedure possible, resulting in rapid response and little temperaturevariation. The tip of the unit is isolated from the ACline by a transformer.

The soldering station utilizes low 24 volts voltage topower the heating element and completely electronic switching is available to protectvoltage and current sensitive components against transient spikesoccasionally caused by other units utilizing mechanical switchingcircuits. This soldering station incorporates a linear LED array readout whichaccurately indicates the temperature of the tip.
