The platformcontainer breaks the traditional concept about cargo must have a certain volumeto fit. It has also same measurements and requirements to be transported indifferent vehicles, just having floor without upper structure. The platformcontainer is suitable for overweight when length reaches more than 6 meters,width is more than 4 meters, height about 4.5 meters and weight up to 40 Tons.

The platform container isa simplified form from platform based container. It has just a floor with samelength and width than international standard regular container. It uses samefastener and lifting equipment which are used for normal containers. Inaddition, two platform containers can be joined together to transport cargosmore than 80 tons.
