The pipe wraptape thickness is 30 mil (0.76 mm) as outer layers, also called protectiontape. The backing is stabilizedpolyethylene while the adhesive is butyl rubber synthetic elastomer-adhesiveresin. The pipe wrap tapehas high chemicalresistance under severe conditions of soil with a wide range of application andservice temperature. Itcomplies with EN-DIN 12068 and AWWA C-214 international standards and also ASTMstandards.

The pipe wrap tapehas outstandingelectric property and permanent adhesion with excellent working efficiency byhand or by machine. It provides permanent mechanical protection when applied withinner wrap coating protection corrosion for underground steel pipelines, it haspowerful mechanical protection.
