The pipewrap tape thickness is 25mil (0.64mm) as outer layer. Thebacking is stabilized polyethylene while the adhesive is butyl rubber syntheticelastomer-adhesive resin. It providespermanent mechanical protection when applied with inner wrap coating protectioncorrosion for underground steel pipelines, it has powerful mechanicalprotection.

The pipe wrap tape has outstanding electric property andpermanent adhesion with excellent working efficiency by hand or by machine.The pipe wrap tape has high chemical resistance under severeconditions of soil with a wide range of application and service temperature. Itcomplies with EN-DIN 12068 and AWWA C-214 international standards and also ASTMstandards.
