Xunda 3036 is a primary anti-corrosion joint wrap tape designed to beused in field coating applications. The high temperature pipe wrapping tapeprovides superior bond strength to primed steel, it has a continuous operatingservice temperature up to 200°F - 94°C and has excellent conformability whenapplied to pipe.

The high temperature pipe wrappingtape consistsof a special polyethylene with very high resistance to environmental stresscracking combined with an engineered butyl alloy based adhesive which cureswhen the coated pipeline begins operation at elevated temperature. This curinggives superior resistance to shear and soil stress.

The high temperature pipewrapping tape has proven in-ground success against chemical andelectrolytic corrosion due to the combined effects of the polyethylene andbutyl rubber adhesive components. This product should be used with a specialhigh shear primer such as 1019 or 1027.
