The metallurgy rotary kiln is composedof a cylinder, gears, support device, kiln liner and kiln tail sealingequipment, kiln head hood, and combustion. The cylinder, as the heated pivotingpart, is made of high-quality carbon steel plate and is supported on thesupport device by a tire. There is a mechanical or hydraulic pressure catch wheel on one ormore gears in order to control the turning of cylinder. The gearing gyrate according to process-required rotating speed byring gear in the middle of the cylinder. Because of the need ofinstallation or maintenance, the bigger metallurgy rotary kiln has auxiliarygears, which makes the cylinder gyrate more slowly. To prevent cold air comingin and dust overflow, reliable kiln tail and head sealing equipment isinstalled on the feed and discharge end.
