The cementrotary kiln is the main equipmentfor calcining cement clinker and it can be used inthe cement industry, metallurgy industry, chemical industry, etc. The cement rotary kiln iscomposed of a shell, supporting device, supporting device with thrust roller,driving device, movable kiln head, sealing device at kiln tail, combustiondevice, etc. It has the simple structure and reliable operation, and theproduction process of the cement rotary kiln can be controlled easily.
Working Principle of the Cement RotaryKiln
Through technical renovations, the cement rotarykiln calcining system equipment uses an advancedhydraulic thrust roller device, high measuring precession plunger pump,variable speed adjusted valve, contact graphite block sealing device, and othernational advanced technologies. In order to raise the automation degree, anindustrial TV is used at the kiln head for monitoring of the kilnand a simulation phosphor screen is used for display of process flow. Aninfrared scanning system is used for the calciningzone to directly reflect the burning conditions on the computer.
With the use of these new technologies, it is direct in vision, convenient inoperation, and reliable in use. The thermal condition can be stabilized and therunning rate of equipment can be raised. Compared to same the sized equipment,the cement rotary kiln running rate has been raised 10%, production has beenincreased 5-10%, and heat consumption has been reduced 15%.
Applicationsof the Cement Rotary Kiln
The cement rotary kiln is used for the making of cement clinker and thereare dry and wet methods to make cement. A metallurgy chemical kiln is used forthe magnetic roasting of iron ore and oxidizing roasting of chrome and nickelin the steel factory; baking high-alumina mine in the refractory materialfactory; baking chamotte and alumina in the aluminumfactory and baking chrome ore and chrome powder in the chemical plant.
