This load break switch is designed to be mounted on pole for outdoor applications, with manual and electrical operations. Supported by Toshiba VSP5-12 technology, it is a maintenance-free switch device.
The load break switch uses SF6 gas as the insulating gas, coupled with vacuum arc-extinguishing.
Designed with functions of fault detection, protection and communication, load break switch is applicable to 10kV overhead power lines, capable of automatic breaking of single phase earth fault and automatic isolating of short-circuit fault between phases.
