A hydraulic cylinder is basically composed of a cylinder structure and cylinder head, piston and piston rod, seal elelment, cushioning device and the exhaust unit. The hydraulic cylinder is an actuator that transforms hydraulic energy into mechanic energy and moves with a reciprocating motion (or oscillating motion). Factors such as internal hydraulic pressure and thermal expansion may result in the expansion of cylinder axially.
