Due to the use of dynamic-tilt cutting head withtolerance control, Teenking 5 axis dynamic waterjet cutting system can produce high-precision parts,and can cut faster remarkably than the conventional water jet cutters.
The system utilizes a newly-developed advanced motion system which has a uniqueprecision operation cutting mode to control a set of fine moving joints mountedon the water jetcutting head so as to control the omni-directional tilt motion of the cuttinghead. The joint allows the cutting head to tilt to any directions so as tocompensate the taper and stream lag that the conventional water jet has duringcutting.
Water stream lag and taper are natural phenomena that each user wants toeliminate, but faster water jet cutting results in larger stream lag whichcauses the geometrical deformation of a part being cut, and faster cuttingspeed results in bigger taper. The conventional water jet cutter reduces oreliminates the tolerance of a workpiece caused bystream lag and taper by slowing down the speed.
