Direct mounted motor on the spindle ensures quicker start, higher running speed (8000 rpm), reduced footprint and space requirement, and easier operation and maintenance. Spiral chip conveyors on either side of the bed promote efficient chip removal. This vertical machining center has a well-engineered structural design. Its structural layout is well thought out, and all major components adopt thermally symmetrical design and box-type construction, which ensures the capability for accurate, high-speed, high-efficiency machining. The user-friendly interface makes the machining center easy to operate and use.
Reasonable structural design
The layout structure of the vertical machining center is reasonable, and the main parts such as bed, columns, etc all adopt thermally symmetrical design and box-shape structure, which ensures the machining in high speed, high efficiency and high accuracy. Also, user-friendly operation interface is easy to operate and use.
High precision spindle
The spindle is directly connected to the motor, which shortens the start and stop times, and greatly improves machining efficiency. The standard configuration for the spindle is BT40 and its speed is 8000 rpm.
Excellent-efficient tool magazine
Very efficient 24-tool magazine mechanism reduces tool-to-tool time. The high efficiency drive system has axis servomotors directly coupled with the axis ball-screws, ensuring greater machining efficiency and accuracy, faster start and stop times.
Chip conveyor
In this vertical machining center, there are built-in chip cleaning coolant nozzles, and 2 spiral auger chip conveyors, one on each side of the bed, plus a separator-type coolant tank with coolant pump to reduce heat distortion from the machining process.
High accuracy, high quality spindle
Standard spindle is BT40, 8000 RPM. Optionally, BT50 6000 RPM spindle can be supplied with VMC1100B for heavier machining requirements
Easy-to-use control panel Fanuc 0i MD CNC control
Fanuc 0i MD CNC control is easy to use, and the conveniently located control panel, which swings 90 degrees, makes the operation of the machine as effortless and intuitive as possible for the operator.
High speed
The rapid speeds for X, Y and Z are 32 meters/minute, 32 meters/minute and 30 meters/minute respectively. This is due to the incorporation of linear guideways, which minimizes non-cutting time, thus improving machining efficiency.
Large machining envelope
The Z-axis travel of 650 mm. makes the work-piece envelope much larger than other machines of the same table-size can provide.
