This CNC lathe has full 2-axis machining functions. The bed is made with advanced sand casting technology, imparting excellent damping characteristics to the finished structure. It has high power and rigidity, and can be used to turn straight, oblique, and arc contours, threading, taper threading, tapping, surface threading, and multiple-entry threads. Radius compensation makes this machine tool suitable for the accurate machining of shaft-type, disc-shaped, and sleeve- type work-pieces of complex shape.
Model HTC5020b with integral slant-bed and 8-station vertical hydraulic turret is specially designed for machining disc-type work-pieces, and pipe coupling. This slant bed CNC lathe, which is not equipped with a tailstock, has good clearance for tooling and is suitable for heavy cutting and minimal chance of adjacent station tool interference.
