The headstocks are of two types of configuration: one with 8-step spindle speeds, two-speed motor, two-way hydraulic clutch, two electromagnetic clutches, and automatic speed-shifting system through all 8 speeds; the other configuration incorporates a main spindle servo motor which permits CNC controlled step less speed regulation.
The CNC pipe threading lathe has front and rear chucks to maintain rotary balance when machining long parts, to ensure the finished quality of the workpiece. The chuck is clamped with 9 sets of disk springs, and is unclamped pneumatically.
The machine has full work-space enclosure; oil and coolant tanks are located at the base of the machine; the electrical panel is mounted on the rear of the headstock; all these features contribute to creating the most compact machine footprint possible.
