Frame structure with heavy load bearing capability and high rigidity
The bed, guide-ways, work-table, columns, and headstock all adopt the most reliable box-style structure; both X and Y axes have linear guideways, and the Z-axis guideway is of cast iron. This design of vertical machining center, VMC1600B and VMC2100B ensures the stability of the machining center during motion, reduced vibration during heavy cutting, and renders parts of high accuracy.
Compared to other machines in the same class, this machine can process parts of greater weight and size. Maximum load is up to 2000 kg. X-axis travel of VMC2100B is over 2100 mm., and therefore is larger than many other machines in the same range of table size.
The spindle has high precision and great torque
Spindle is belt driven and of high quality and accuracy, and can meet the requirements of machining with high power and heavy torque. A ZF 1:4 gearbox is optional, if even higher torque is required. Note: VMC2100B is standard configuration.

Six linear bearing blocks, four guideways
In order to meet the demands of heavy cutting, the machine design used special techniques to develop a new kind of structure for the X-axis, with 6 linear bearing blocks and for the Y-axis 4 linear guideways. This minimizes the deformation caused by worktable overhang and ensures the accuracy of the part during heavy cutting forces.
High efficiency chip removal system
A large capacity coolant tank with high flow chip- cleaning nozzles, along with a spiral auger on each side of the table ensures efficient chip removal.
