Introduction
The alkyd iron-red primer is made of alkyd modified by refined vegetable oil, iron oxide red, antirust pigments, extender pigments, dispersing agent, anti-settling agent, drier, solvents, and more. With strong adhesion, and rust resistance, the alkyd iron-red primer matches well with nitryl and alkyd finish paint.

Application
The alkyd iron-red primer is applied to ferrous metals as priming paint for rust prevention.

Surface Treatment	Steel with scale: Before applying the alkyd iron-red primer, the surface should be treated by means of shot blasting or sand blasting, to meet Sweden derusting standard Grade Sa2.5. Steel without scale: Grind the surface with pneumatic or electric tools until it reaches the level required by Sweden derusting standard Grade St3. Steel coated with shop primer: Prior to coating the alkyd iron-red primer, the surface should be up to the level of Sweden derusting standard Grade St3 after secondary rust removal.
Application Conditions	The substrate temperature should be at least 3℃ higher than the dew point, and the relative humidity is required to be less than 85%.
