XLP Reverse Osmosis Membrane Element, Extremely Low Pressure RO Membrane

The XLP series reverse osmosis membrane element is specially designed to operate at extremely low pressures, making it ideal for treatment of surface water and underground water. With an operation pressure of roughly ½ of a low-pressure membrane, the rejection rate is 98%. Because of this, aromatic polyamide based reverse osmosis membranes reduce investment costs in related pumps, tanks and other devices, as well as reduces the operation costs of a reverse osmosis system, thereby lowering overall costs while simultaneously improving treated water quality.

Applications

The RO membrane element is used in the treatment of surface water, underground water and municipal water with TDS readings of less than 1000 ppm. It is especially useful for second pass processes in reverse osmosis systems. This reverse osmosis membrane is primarily used for producing bottled water, drinking water, boiler replenishing water, ultrapure water, etc.
