Falling FilmEvaporator
Our falling film evaporator is applied for the productionof high quality concentrated juice, whey, pharmaceutical liquids and other heatsensitive materials. It works in vacuum and low temperature conditions.Therefore, it preserves the organoleptic propertiesof the original juice in the processed products. With multiple effect design,our falling film evaporator allows more energy saving and reduced operationcosts.
In a falling film evaporator, liquid and vapors flowdownwards in parallel. The liquid for concentration is preheated to boilingtemperature. Through a distribution device, an even thin film enters theheating tubes in the head of the evaporator, flows downward at boilingtemperature and is partially evaporated. This downward movement is expandedgradually by the cocurrent vapor flow.

1. Our falling film evaporator has adjustableand controllable direct contact heat treatment units.
2. It is of shortest possible residence time, thanks to the presence of a thinfilm along the entire length of the tubes.
3. The liquid distribution systems are specially designed to ensure correcttube coverage.
4. The vapor flow is co-current to the liquid and the vapor drag improves theheat transfer. A cyclone separator is adopted, where the vapor and theremaining liquid are separated.
5. Efficient design of separators.
6. The multiple effect arrangement help improve steam efficiency.
