Description
A Starter Motor is an electric motor needed to turn over the car engine tostart. A car Starter Motor needs very high current to crank the engine, whichis the very reason why it is connected to the battery with large cables. Ifyour Starter Motor wouldn’t spin or if it spins at a very slow pace, or if youdon’t hear the cranking sound as you turn on the ignition key, and all you hearis just a click, then replacing your car Starter Motor is necessary.
Working Principle
The starting system is consists of a starter solenoidand a Starter Motor. When you turn the ignition key to the start position, thebattery voltage goes through the Starter Motor control circuit and activatesthe starter solenoid, which in turn uplifts the Starter Motor. The StarterMotor cranks the engine.
