600A, 15kV-35KV Insulated Protective Cap

The CEE 600A insulatedprotectivecapmeets the full requirements of ANSI/IEEE Standard 386-Separable InsulatedConnector Systems and provides insulated, fully shielded submersible protectionfor energized 35kV class deadbreak interface. This insulated protective cap isrequired for temporary or permanent installation on 15kV, 25kV, 35kV deadbreak bushings, junctions and other accessories havinginterface that conform to ANSI/IEEE Standard 386. If there is a reserved interface in the junctionsor the bushings, the insulated protective cap must be used. Themolded EPDM semi-conducting shield maintains ground potential on the cap'ssurface when the drain wire is connected to ground.
