The controlled object is a whole system including six vessels, which adopt S7-300 system and are controlled in split screens. The six vessels are:

one 360L oil phase vessel
one 1200L aqueous phase vessel
one 1200L coarse emulsion vessel
two 1200L homogenization vessels
one 1200L storage tank

In order to achieve a better emulsification, the reaction vessels are equipped with high shear mixer and high-pressure homogenization vessels. Since the high temperature caused during the working of high-pressure homogenizers has a bad impact on the fat emulsion, NJR furnishes the piping system with heat exchanger. Considering the fat is difficult to clean, this fat emulsion intravenous manufacturing system is equipped with fully automatic CIP cleaners.
