Fluoride removing activated alumina is mainly used for fluoride removal from drinking water. Despite of worldwide programs for drinking water fluoridating, enough fluorine in water may result in fluorosis in Jaipur region of India or other certain regions. By using our product, fluoride levels can be efficiently reduced from 5 ppm to less than 1 ppm.

Our fluoride removing activated alumina can provide better effect of filtering fluoride leached from the water, by adopting more alumina in the filter, lower temperature water, lower pH water or acidic water, more alumina in the filter, as well as longer actual touching time between the water and alumina filter media.

As a fluoride filter, fluoride removing activated alumina can be also regenerated by a solution of lye which is also called sodium hydroxide or NaOH, sulfuric acid, also named H2SO4, or alum which is also written as KAl(SO4)2.
