Description

This analyzer is standalone, microprocessor-controlled, 6 dry contacts, fully analyzing extra high voltage circuit breaker’s performance by testing contact time, stroke, velocity and over-travel, etc.

Test items

2.1 Routine tests: time, velocity and stroke

1) Time test

-- Closing/opening time

-- Simultaneity in-phase (time difference between contacts in same phase)

-- Simultaneity between-phase

-- Bouncing frequency and time

-- Contact closing/opening-time curve

2) Velocity and stroke test

-- Open/close instantaneous velocity, max. speed, average speed

-- Open-distance, over-travel, bounce-back, total stroke

-- “Stroke-time” curve

3) Current measurement on closing/opening coils

2.2 Reclosing test: close-open, open-close, open-close-open

2.3 Low-voltage test: checking out or verifying closing/open coil action voltage.
