Home Slitter Spacer

Slitter Spacer

The slitter spacer keeps individual circular slitting blades apart from each other. Via adjusting the spacer, slitter operators can control the width of metal strips coming out of the slitting machine. Comprised of the outer rubber gasket and inner iron core, the slitter tooling spacer is essential to keep a proper horizontal knife clearance. Typical materials used to construct the iron core of the knife spacer include: C45, 65Mn, 9CrSi, and SAE52100. The outer rubber is usually made of either polyurethane or nitrile rubber.

Slitter Spacer

HENGLIDA slitter spacer is precision manufactured to high tolerances for surface flatness and parallelism. Uniform tooling spacers ensure equal horizontal knife clearances, which in turn guarantee the slit width is within specification and the slit edge is of high, even quality.
