Wire inlet direction
The assembly of the gear, shaft and bearing are integrated. The bearing uses a thin oil that lubricates the components by light splashing during rotation. In order to prevent grease loss and from dust contaminating the box, the sealing element is installed between the bearing end cap and extended shaft.
The gear motor housing is an important component as it is the base of the transmission component. It has plenty of strength and rigidity to get the job done. The housing is made mostly form gray cast iron because of its vibration damping effects and strength. The overload or impact load gears are made from cast steel.
Accessories of gear motor: In order to ensure optimal operation of the gear motor, the lubrication system should be maintained properly. Pay attention to the oil sump, oil injection system, oil drain and level. Accurate positioning is also recommended.
Installation and Maintenance
1. Please inspect the appearance of the gear motor for any oil leakage or other visible damage.
2. Please confirm the working voltage of gear motor, a voltage regulator can be added when voltage is unstable.
3. Please make sure the purchased gear motor specification conforms to the designated specification.
4. Check the fixed motor base to avoid loosing when transmission.
5. Please install the accessories like chain wheels, belt pulleys, couplers etc. according to the relevant provisions.
6. Lubrication oil was already filled, no need change grease oil within 12000 hours.
7. The rated current shouldn’t exceed the current value marked on the motor nameplate.
8. Please pay attention to the surrounding temperature, humidity and PH value.
9. Working temperature is -10 degree to+40gegree, humidity is below 90%.
10. If gear motor is not installed, maintained or operated as per a correct way, the gear motor will be heavily damaged.
How to store the reducer?
1) Keep the reducer in a clean dry place.
2) If it will be stored outdoor or in a humid place, please put the reducer in a box and pack it tightly with a plastic bag to avoid rain exposure and external erosion.
Cautions during Operation
1) Overload should be avoided.
2) Input speed cannot exceed the proper max. speed.
3) Please stop and check the reducer if any of the following occurs:
Sudden temperature rise
Abnormal noise
Unstable speed
4) Please change the motor shaft direction after stopping the motor.
Warranty Instruction
The following costs and damages are not included in our warranty:
1) Freight cost
2) If the reducer connects with or inserts into a unit during dismounting or mounting, or any other extra action, there will be a cost as this is not in the warranty.
3) Other accompanying unspecified damage.
