Actually, BG3K battery guard is an upgraded version of BG2K, so this producthas similar functions. When the engine is not running, this product can keep aneye on battery voltage. There is a voltage sensitive timer in ECU and when voltagefalls below threshold it will be triggered. If voltage remains below 24.1V fora full preset time, isolation starts to work. At this stage, there will be nopower for ignition and alarm starts so the driver needs to start the engine bypressing flashing reset switch. As well as that, manual disconnection issupported by BG3K battery guard. To be more specific, battery can be isolatedby pressing reset switch for 2 seconds. Of course, the function ofdisconnection is not available during running of the engine.

For parameters, all of them could be set andchanged through window-based Graphical User Interface software, such asthreshold voltage, disconnect time delay, external alarm and audible/visualalarms and outputs. Of course, there is a fully programmable power managementsystem. At the same time, an unprotected output with max capacity of 5A is provided by this product. So throughadditional split charge, secondary battery on vehicle can be programmed.
