Application of Epichlorohydrinresin
1． Industrial anti-corrosion coatings
Epichlorohydrin resin hasmany features such as waterproof, anti-aging, chemical resistance, and easy toadhere on kinds of materials. It is widely used in metal structure coating, toprevent corrosion caused by the industrial atmosphere. Mix Epichlorohydrin resin with anti-rust paint, it canbe a good zinc primer with good antiseptic effect; epichlorohydrin resin also can mix with the micaceous iron oxide, it iswidely used in factories: storage tanks, outer tube and steel structures, aswell as any place that get contact with water and steam.
2． Used in making light metal primer and topcoat
It is difficult to paint on the aluminum, zinc, galvanized steel and othermetal surfaces with general resin. But the Epichlorohydrin resin has excellent adhesion andgood performance; it can be used in painting garage doors, windows, raingutters, terrace, lampposts and highway crash barriers such as isolation plate.
