Our ceramic ball bearing is a popular selection of skateboard bearing because of its lighter weight, higher speed and lower rotational slip.

The weight of ceramic material is only 40% of steel with the same size. Due to lower density, ceramic bearings offer lighter weight and higher speed than steel ones. This is why under high speed conditions, our ceramic skateboard bearings can prevent the slippage and load increase of rolling elements caused by centrifugal force.

Additionally, ceramic bearings offer 1.3-1.5 times the speed of steel bearings, and the DN value can be up to 3 million.

It is very common to see that there is rotational slip between the raceway and the rolling element of angular contact ball bearings. When ceramic is used for making rolling elements of skateboard bearings, the rotational slip will be greatly reduced; and also, the temperature increasing and raceway surface damage of the bearing can be minimized.

Because of lower dislocation mobility and higher hardness, ceramic skateboard bearings offer better abrasion resistance than steel ones. All these makes our ceramic ball bearing one of the most widely accepted bearings for skateboards.
