Dry Charged Car Battery



The dry charged car battery contains the positive and negative plates, which are formed and charged in acid before being dried and assembled. When it is added with the electrolyte, the product will be activated to give instant current, and then it is ready for use. Our product is safe for use and it has low water consumption. Moreover, the product features low self discharge and excellent resistance against vibrations. Not only it has the ability of long term electricity reserve which will endure at least one year, but also the product is suitable for cycled use for a long time. In addition, it performs excellent cranking at low temperature. Conforming to JIS and DIN standards, our car battery can be supplied with the capacity ranging from 32Ah to 230Ah.

Use Procedures
1. At first, users should remove the vent plug of the battery and get rid of the inspection seal from the plug or the acid filling plug, or penetrate the sealing wax.
2. Then the standard electrolyte will be added at the density of 1.28 ± 0.005g/cm³ at 25Users should ensure that the liquid level is above the lower level line, or above the protection board at 10-20mm partitions and tighten up the vent plug or the filling plug
3. After 20 or 30 minutes, the product can be used. It is better to give an initial charge to the product when the liquid temperature is below 35. After the acid is filled, users should prevent the product idling for too long.
4. While using the product, users should check its liquid level periodically. Sometimes, it is necessary to add some distilled water or pure water but not sulfuric acid or impure water taken from rivers or wells. If the liquid loses too fast, users should check the voltage regulator of the vehicle.
5. When the product is stored or filled with acid, users should ensure that the vent plug is not blocked so as to prevent the product from possible deformation or explosion.

Maintenance Guidance
1.Before the installation or dismounting of the dry charged car battery, the engine and all electrical equipment of the vehicle should be turned off. To demount the battery, users should disconnect the “-” negative pole first and then the “+” positive pole. While mounting the battery, the “+” pole should be connected to the negative wire of the vehicle first and then the “-” pole to the positive wire, or the reverse connection may damage the product as well as other electrical equipment. In addition, it will keep firm and clean connection if the poles and wires are coated with acid resistant grease or Vaseline. Yet users should be careful on operation to avoid short circuit.
2. The product should be recharged immediately after it is discharged. If the product is short of power, users should not leave it for a long time without recharging.
3. Sometimes the product should be recharged outside the vehicle, such as
if its voltage drops, it performs worse on starting or the car lights get dimmer, etc.
4. Pay special attention to the “+” and “-” signs, users should make sure that connection to the charger is correct.
5. At the first time, the current for recharge shall be 1/20 of the nominal capacity, like 3A for N60. Moreover, the recharge lasts 3 or 4 hours. For the second recharge, the current shall be 1/10 of the nominal capacity, like 6A for N60. The duration is from 12 to16 hours. If the temperature of the battery exceeds 45ºC, the recharge should be suspended and continued only as it drops below 45ºC.
6. Users would better check the voltage regulator of the vehicle routinely, whose output voltage should be strictly limited between 13.3V and 14.4V. Otherwise the product will be damaged.

Safety Rules and Cautions
1.As the acid of the car battery is highly corrosive, please don’t spill it. If the acid splashes onto the skin or clothes, users must wash it immediately with plenty of water or soap water. If it gets into eyes, please wash them with water and visit a doctor as soon as possible.
2. The product should be out of children’s reach.
3. It will generate flammable gas while recharging. To avoid explosion, users should keep it away from heat and fire at a well ventilated place. Before the product is recharged, please remove the vent plugs to avoid deformation and explosion.
4. When recharged in serial connection, batteries are at a high voltage. To avoid electric shocks, users should be extra careful to touch the wires or connection poles.
5.  The product should be stored at a dry, clean and ventilated place at the temperature within 5ºC-35ºC and should not be exposed directly to the sun. The vent plugs should be tightened before use.
6. The storage time of the dry charged battery should not exceed one year. If it is already in storage for over one year, before use. If it is filled with acid, the product should be recharged every other month and completely recharged and discharged once every 3 months. Moreover, users should adjust both the level and the density of the acid.
7. No additive can improve performance of the product.
8. The scraped batteries should not be treated as common household wastes.
