Our gardenia yellow pigment is extracted from gardenia fruits by means of physical methods. It is a carotenoid pigment composed of crocin and crocetin. Its exterior is an orange-yellow powder.

The gardenia yellow pigment is easily soluble in water and dilute ethanol. It is highly resistant to heat and light. In addition, this product is characterized by high tinting strength and strong permeability. Its pH value is relatively stable. However, color fading may easily occur in acidic solutions.
