Kanamycin Sulfate

Properties
Kanamycin Sulfate is a white or off-white crystalline powder. It is easily soluble in water.

Uses
1. Kanamycin Sulfate is used for treating Esophagitis, Antral gastritis, Bacillary dysentery, and Gastrointestinal infection.
2. This product is highly effective against different types of Gram-negative bacteria such as E. coli, Salmonella, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus, Pasteurella, and more. It is also useful against Staphylococcus aureus, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and Mycoplasma. However, it loses effectiveness when meeting Pseudomonas aeruginosa, anaerobes, and other Gram-positive organisms except Staphylococcus aureus.
3. In addition, this kind of aminoglycoside antibiotics is fit for treatment of Mastitis, Septicemia, Urinary tract infection, and Respiratory tract infection caused by most of Gram-negative bacteria and part of drug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.
4. As a medicine for oral administration, it can treat many types of intestinal infections such as pullorum disease, typhoid, paratyphoid, fowl cholera, avian pathogenic escherichia coli, etc.
