PY180 Series Steering Front Axle and Rear Axle for Grader

PY180 Front Axle for Grader
This is a steering front axle. Complete with welded structure, the axle housing is W-shaped. The maximum turning angle reaches 45 degree for both sides, and the maximum swing angle is 15 degree. Therefore, when the grader runs over uneven surfaces, the axle housing is able to swing around the longitudinal mounted kingpin shaft, whereby all wheels can touch the ground.

The both wheels mounted to front axle have a maximum inclination angle of 17 degree, so when the grader is facing fairly large drag force or working on a slope, the lateral stability is enhanced and the grader is prevented from off-tracking.

PY180 rear axle for grader
PY180 rear axle for grader is three-stage drive axle for four-wheel drive graders. This product adopts the limited slip differential imported from America. Its hydraulic shoe brake is applied to the brake drums of four drive wheels, which delivers stable and efficient brake.


The speed reduction of the rear axle for grader falls into three stages. The first one starts at the main reduction part which is fitted with the drive pinion gear. This gear futures large input torque, high transfer efficiency and stable performance. The second stage of speed reduction is conducted by the planetary gear of the hub reduction which has high rigidity and stable output speed.


Between the main reduction part and hub reduction gear, there is the full-floating axle to transfer power. The third stage of reduction and transfer is delivered by the balancer chain. Besides, the hub bearing seat and wheel hub adopts decentration structure which is easy for chain adjustment.
