Features of the Walking Beam Furnace
1. Uniform Heating
Due to the repeated lifting and lowering movements, the steel tubing material will rotate as well during the forward-moving process. Thus, every surface of the tubing material can be uniformly heated. The rational design of burner nozzles further ensures even heating.

2. Energy Saving and Lower Emission
The dry-and-sealed design enables the continuous furnace to save up to 30% energy as compared with conventional products using water sealing. In traditional water-sealed products, a large amount of heat will be carried away by the water. While in our walking beam furnaces, the released hot exhaust fume will be recycled to preheat the feeding air, which effectively reduces heat loss and save energy consumption.

Working Principle of the Walking Beam Furnace
The walking beam mechanism is positioned at the bottom of the reheating furnace. When the mechanism moves forward for every step, it will be firstly lifted up so as to jack up the steel billets to be heating, and then will get down to the bottom. That is, with the movement of the walking beam, the materials to be heating are moved forward step by step as well.

Generally speaking, the steel billets are placed horizontally in the device, and moves forward in vertical direction. The cold materials are fed from the rear end of the walking beam furnace, and delivered out from the front end.
