The HM-608PS independent photoelectric smoke detector is based upon the principle of the particle in the smoke refracting the infrared light. The circuit is mainly composed of infrared emission part and the receiving part. The transmitting tube and the receiving tube are housed in the optical chamber which can shield the interference from the external stray light but won't affect the entry of the smoke.
In the case of no smoke, the independent photoelectric smoke detector only receives very weak infrared light. But when the smoke enters the optical chamber, as a result of the scattering effect, the received optical signal is strengthened. When the smoke reaches a certain concentration, the alarm indicator of the product flashes and emits the alarm sound.
With the utilization of SMT technology and artificial intelligence circuit, the product has strong adaptability to diversified environments, and good reaction to the visible smoke generated by the slow smoldering or the flame combustion. It can be mounted in factory building, dormitory building, dining hall, warehouse, supermarket, as well as the residential area, shopping plaza, hotel, office building, teaching building, library, bank, etc.
