PX-6100 mobile radio has 128 memory channels. Every channel can be named by at most 6 characters. The product is capable of setting frequencies and other parameters. CTCSS and DCS function can be applied to shield irrevelant calls from other radio stations. Features and Functions
Limiting Signal Strength-The function ensures that the radio only receives signal with greater than or equal to given signal strength. So the function helps to avoid constant resetting squelch when the product enter a relatively weak radio station which users are not interested in.
Multi-function Scan-The product supports many scan modes, which consist of VFO scan, calling scan, group scan as well as program san. The function leads to automatic monitoring of customers' favorite channel.
Squelch Adjustment-The function is intended to turn off speaker volume when there is no signal. Correct setting of squelch level makes customers hear sounds only when the radio actually receives signals. The higher the squelch level, the higher the signal strength has to be to make users hear sounds.
Power-On Password-The password can be set at most 6 bits and can be modified by MCP-2A software. It is capable of preventing embezzlement when the radio is lost.
Super Large Channel Capacity-Up to 1000 channels are available. Users can write personalized channel numbers. Flexible grouping contributes to more efficient team management .
Direct Frequency Input-If there is a big difference between current frequency and required frequency, users can input the frequency needed by the microphone keypad. So the product can be switched to required frequency temporarily and quickly.
Display Luminance and Backlight Color-Display luminance can be adjusted to one of the eight levels. Backlight color could be amber or green. The display luminance also can be changed manually to accommodate operating environment. The backlight and display illumination also provide the visibility to operate the radio in the dark.
Programmable Buttons-Two buttons on the front panel and four microphone buttons can be assigned as required to different functions by programming. These functions include controlling, monitoring, phonetic transcription, voice broadcasting, memory group up, function table and speaker muting. A flexible way of function configuration is offered to customers.
CTCSS/DCS Grouping-Users can set receiving and transmitting CTCSS/DCS on every channel as required. Group call can be achieved and the function prevents illegal users from using the relay station.
Voice Broadcast-There are three parameters including language, volume and speed. English and Japanese are available. Volume can be adjusted to one of the seven levels. When users change the working mode, the frequency and other settings, new information is broadcasted to avoid maloperations and ensure easy operation at night.
Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency Signaling (DTMF)-Manual call and automatic dialing are supported. Up to 16 digits DTMF number and 8-digit memory name can be stored in every channel to ensure quick redialing later.
Repeater Delay-When the signal disappears, the relay station keep staying in retransmitting status to reduce delay caused by frequent booting trunk circuits. The function can be enabled or disabled by programming settings.
Large Dot Matrix LCD-Working in different display modes, the LCD displays different information which includes channel number/name, group name/name, frequencies, DTMF dialing number/memory name and various menu settings. User friendly interface make all statuses clear at a glance. Humanized interface leads to easy operation and fully satisfies customers' different demands for various functions.
